i have a code po172 engine light and service lightcomes on engine light stays on service light goes off after a few min. rpms at 900

Service light is just a reminder that you need your routine maintinance done. As for the check engine light. Check intake system for leaks and check the exhaust system for leaks. Check for proper fuel pressure. If al that is good you could have a faulty mass air flow sensor.
