1987 Volvo 740 Problems when starting

When I turned the ignition the car started but then about 2 seconds later it turned off, the second time I turn it on it always starts up tho, should I be worried about my safety in it? Because the whole problem kinda makes me scared.

Have the coolant temperature sensor and fuel pressure checked-
