1984 Volkswagen Van 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 250000 miles
My 84 VW vanagon used to start, although it would start turning over very slowly like it was sticking. Now it won't turn over at all. The battery is new as is, I believe, the clutch. The stereo and lights still turn on as well. Also, it has been sitting for sometime as I have not had the money to fix it. Any suggestions?

HI there ,
Remove the spark plugs and make sure the engine can turn over fairly easily by hand, if so the engine is not seizing up, then i would get the starter wiring checked and the starter as well, start here.
