Whats the esiest way to fix the reverse in a 95 jetta is a 5 speed

If you know what you are doing and are mechanically inclined you could simply remove transmission and rebuild it. But sometimes it is cheaper and easier to just replace the transmission assembly. Cost of parts and time to remove and reinstall transmission could be more expensive and more time consuming than just simply replacing the trans. Let me know if any other questions

Is it the clutch or transmission dont know witch one to replace

Does the clutch work fine when using 1st gear, 2nd gear, etc? If it does then clutch is probably fine. If reverse is the only gear not working then it is probably in the transmission. Especially if your clutch works fine while using other gears.
