2000 Volkswagen Cabrio Driving concern
Shakes or Wobbles problem
2000 Volkswagen Cabrio 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
When I drive the car, I feel a shaky feeling from the front wheel, especially driver side wheel. I know that I need new tires and I plan to get some. Will that relieve the problem or could it be a bearing problem also.

Why do you need new tires? Are they overly worn? Unevenly worn?
The tire being out of balance or actually coming apart can cause vibration and shimmy.
If you know you need new tires either way, replace them and then investigate further if the problem is not solved. The technicians replacing the tires will also have a chance to visually inspect the components on your front suspension.
