1973 Volkswagen Beetle 1973 VW Beetle will not idle
engine will start but will not idle. also there is a strong raw gas smell. What ajustments do I need to make?

Adjust the idle speed screw to raise the idle and see what happens-don't work readjust the air and fuel mixture screw and follow it with the idle speed screw. Also check the point gap and ignition timing-
