My vehicle was working fine. I actually used it during the day. Then went to start it again and it would not start up. Check battery cables, and charged battery. Put in some fresh gas. All I get is a clicking sound when I turn the key. Lights and horn are working. Can it be the starter? If so how entailed is it to do it myself. Don't want to put a lot of money in car since it is old.

Could be the starter/starter relay/transmission range switch and ignition switch. See below starter control circuit.
