Transmission siloniod cleaning

The car won't go into reverse and I have to manually shift into and out of 3rd gear how do I clean the siloniod or fix it

Unfortunately there is not a cleaning procedure for these solenoids. They come in a block and I am sure you can take them apart but it is easier and better to just replace this.

Also, it sounds like you have an issue in not only the shift solenoid pack but the reverse servo.

More than likely the fluid is contaminated with clutch debris or metal.

I would start with servicing the unit and checking the fluid.
