I was at my daughter's school today and was in park. I put my car into drive and it did a high rev engine and jump and then it would not move at all. It will now only move normally in reverse and it can move in first gear at only about fifteen miles an hour. I have not had any issues since owning the car with it slipping in gears or feeling it drive sluggish from one gear to the next. What could have happened.

Hello Jennifer,

It sounds like the transmission fluid is low please check the level with the engine running. Here is a guide to help you

If the fluid level is okay connect a scanner to it and check for codes this will guide us in the right direction here is a guide for that as well.
