I have a 91 toyota pickup that use to pop out of 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear. I took it to a garage and had it fixed for $100.00. I was told that it was a plastic peice that guilded the shifter into the gears. It fixed it and it only took a half a day to fix with a $15.00 part.
