1982 Toyota Pickup carbed Pickup won't start when warm

I don't smell gas, so I squirt a little starting fluid down the carb and it starts right up. Fuel pump, filter are new and carb just rebuilt. Any ideas?

Sounds like vapor lock to me! Make sure all the heat sheilds are in their proper places. Also try this before turning it off.

Rev up the engine and hold gas and turn off the engine
that should fill the carb up with gas for a easier next start.
