Transmission problem
2003 Toyota Highlander 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My Highlander 2003 at 15564 km consumes engine oil a lot ; produces a lot of blue smoke upon sparking but smoke stops after a few seconds. "Check engine" light is constantly on. What could be the problem. I have not sent it to garage yet. It was delivered from the USA to Ghana last April. It was a repossessed vehicle from a debtor.

Check engine light:

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
