What could be the cause of excess oil burning.I dont see any leaks or smell any fumes.I know spark plugs have not been changed since 27,000 --when I purchased the car.I was told on last oil change by toyota
that special plugs were in car & plugs were due to be changed at 75,000 miles.
What other areas on the car could be fault to oil burning.

HI there,

The main causes for excessive oil consumption is wrong oil diluted oil, faulty rings and worn valve guides & stem seals, get a leak down test done to check the rings first, start here.
