Hi, I recently went to my toyota dealership to have my corolla serviced and they said that the rear brakes were at 15%. 1) what exactly needs to be replaced (because I plan on going to a mechanic to have it done and I would like to purchase the parts online.). And also a rough estimation for labor hours it would take for it to be done.

You need to replace the pads (or shoes) at least. You should have the rotors or drums turned. If they are below minumum thickness, they should be replaced.
Check hardware for rust/corrosion and replace as necessary. Check the calipers/wheel cylinders for leaks and replace as necessary.

Cost is hard to estimate, since you would have to inspect the condition of the brakes.

Rear brakes (pads or shoes) generally will last FAR longer than fronts (up to 3 times longer).
