My Car is a Canadian Car. I have 195000 Kms on it. I replaced O2 Sensor, did Engine tune-up, brake pads etc. 4 months ago. Still the engine light was on. I continued driving. Emission did not pass because of error code P0171, so changed Mass air flow sensor, did some other repairs for a total of $800. Now after 4 days, the light is back on. Emission did not pass again. Took it to toyota dealer. P133 O2 sensor that was changed 4months ago is defective again, and due to Non-toyota part. Complete rip off. Any suggestions please. Thanks

Most aftermarket parts have a warranty, O2 sensors are usually 1 year.

You could have replaced the O2 sensor under warranty.

Toyota, as well as all car makers are going to insist on using their parts, most aftermarket parts are OK. People buy them because they are (generally) much less expensive than the original.
