I had a friend replace my left front wheel bearing 11/08. My car failed inspection 5/09 for same wheel bearing. Replaced it, passed inspection. Left front tire area was making noise, thought maybe tire was out of balance and took it to be looked at and was told my bearing was bad. Is there something that could be going on with my car that is causing the bearing to keep going bad? Thanks for your help. Carolyn

Faulty suspension components or misalignment can cause premature wheel bearing failure. Have the suspension components and wheel alignment checked to ensure none are weak and need replaced or realigned.
