Hi there, it seems I have had to put power steering fluid in, in the past 2 and half months, just filling it up with alittle bit, so I know I have a small leak, wondering if u would be able to tell me if u think it has to do with my rack and pinion, or with any hoses, I know without seeing my car it really is hard to say! But I am going to take it to my mechanic I have been using the last year and half, and definitely get it taken care of, thanx so much and hope u had a nice Thanksgiving Bridget :)

Hi Bridget,

Hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving as well.

You would have to visually inspect where the leak is coming from.

It could be the pump, hoses and rack. Quite often the rack pinion seal is the main culprit and it requires the rack to be removed for replacement of the seal.
