I hear a squealing sound while I'm driving, but it get's really loud when I turn the heat on, only when I start to slow down to a complete stop. Then when I pull off it quiets down again. Do you know what it could be?

Check the condition and tightness of the belts. It may also be the alternator bearing is going south.
You can take the alt. Off and have it tested at a auto parts store. Make sure the shaft has no play and if it squeals under load at the test stand, then you will need to replace it.
