1990 Toyota Corolla Hesitate when step on gas

When I put on "Drive" and step on the gas, the car is acting like it is on "Neutral" for about a second before it starts going, same thing with "Reverse" gear, and this is an automatic transmission. The car has been running very good, no previous sign of any problem, it just happened all of a sudden.

Inspect and test the airflow meter and throttle position sensor.

Also check the trans fluid level. Check with engine running and in park.
