Hi all,

I have got Toyota Corolla FX 1987. My radiator fan is not working, when I removed the wire from the coolant fan switch it rotates, that means my relay and fuse are fine. I even changed the temperature switch but that doesn't help either. Is that due to wiring problem inside dash board? My dash board temeperature meter shows full in red area when starting just for few minutes. Please help me.

If you remove the coolant fan switch and fan runs, then replace the fan switch.

Look in fuse box in engine compartment and see if there is a relay called "engine main". If there is replace it, go to junk yard for replacement, as they are NOT CHEAP from Toyota.

The fact that the fan runs when switch is disconnected points directly to the relay or temp switch.
