1997 Toyota Camry le 4 cycler

It is rare to set timing. Most of the time if the distributer is in the middle of the rotating area it doesn't need to be set. Before you turn the distributer, check where the timimg is set on the timing mark. It should be per the decal. Loosen the distributer and turn it a small bit in either direction WITH THE ENGINE OFF. Restart and check your mark. This way is time consuming but easier than finding the computer disconnect. It will take a couple of trys but you will get it. Good luck
