Backing out of my driveway the other day I heard a clunk as I was turning onto the street. Then as I was driving I heard a kind of pulsing noise that seems to be coming from the left front wheel. It is very distinctive at around 40-45 MPH. I have not taken it in for service yet and I know my description is vague but might you have any idea of what repair I may be facing?

Could be a wheel bearing or possibly an axle/cv joint. Definitly have it looked at

Wouldn't be surprised if the lower control arm bushing fell out or the coil spring broke.
