Transmission problem
1985 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am currently doing city driving nothing over 60 km
now when I go on the highway 80-100km it loses power and the last time it actually stalled I am thinking tranny but maybe you could give me a better anwser or a more accurate one and what I could be looking at fixing wise and car wise worse case what would a rebuilt tranny for this car cost me

Hi there,

I would start by checking the tune up, take particular notice if the fuel system, clean filters and and delivery pressure is vital. When you say it looses power, if this power? What happens if you slip the transmission into Neutral? Dose the engine free rev of is it still bogging down?
