The only work on the engine was an oxy sensor at about 180,000 miles and a water temp sensor for radiator fan. Timing belts changed every 60,000 miles, oil changed every 5,000 miles.
drove 2 miles to freeway started losing power. Got off freeway had miss, found it was #1. Checked spark had good spark all cyls.
losing power has happened before but after slowing down the power always came back, not this time! No engine check came on.
I have to check compression but suspect it is good. Think it is fuel injector.
any advice?
thank you

Have to check compression but suspect it is good. Think it is fuel injector. Good idea

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel
