So my battery drained out and I jumped it, and when I went to drive it out of the parking spot, it seemed to stay in neutral. The clutch pedal engaged like normal, the shifter went into gear like normal, but it wouldn't move. Then, with it still idling in 1st gear, I released the clutch pedal, and low and behold, it didn't stall out. It's like it won't come out of neutral even after it has been shifted into (and yes, I sat in the parking lot and tried every stinking gear with the same result).
This is a new one for me. Please help!

Sounds like the clutch is not engaging at all. So basically you can shift into any gear you want but the mechanical connection between the engine and transmission is not engaging.

I suspect you have an issue with the slave cylinder. Clearly it has nothing to do with the battery so I think we just need to find out if when you are pressing the pedal that the release bearing is moving.

I attached the info below on this. Let us know if you have questions.
