1999 Subaru Outback will start but shuts off

1999 Subaru Outback All Wheel Drive Automatic

My husband recently replaced the battery and spark plugs on our 99 Subaru Outback Legacy, and since then, the car will start but shuts off as soon as he lets off the gas. He has replaced the fuel pump, and it now sounds better but same results. Any ideas?

The computer needs to go thru relearning process due to battery disconnection till it completes the relearn.

You have to drive tll it relearns itself. If it continues check the fuel pressure and the idle air control valve
