1996 Subaru Outback Blown Head Gasket

Dear Professional Mechanics,

I have a Subaru Outback 1996, engine is 2.5 liter EJ25D. The vehicle has been diagnosed with a blown head gasket problem.
I have an information about an additive sealer named Blue Devil as a way to solve the problem. Can you please give me your professional advise about it, is this a proper fix? Can you please tell me what is the best way to solve the problem.

Blue Devil is a professional head gasket sealer that most shops use, but costs about $60 a quart.

Many shops use and swear by it, but really depends on the extent of damage (broken head bolt, for example).
