Vents In '93 Subaru Impreza Only Blow Heat!

I have a '93 manual transmission Subaru Impreza with approximately 90,000 miles.

The vents constantly blow hot air even when all the settings are turned to off. It blows hot air when the a/c is turned on. I don't need to have the a/c working but I would prefer NOT to have hot air blowing on me constantly.

I have had various repairs done including having the clutch replaced, an oil leak sealed, the water pump replaced.

Please advise.

If I were you i'd take car to a mechanic & ask them to pull the fan swicth resistor out & just check it hasn't become brittle & broken
