2003 Subaru Forester changing front brake pads
2003 Subaru Forester 85,500 miles
Hi, I want to replace the front brake pads on my 2003 Subaru forester. This is the first front brake pad change on this car. Do I also need to replace the discs, or do I just resurface the old ones? The car has no problems other than a wear indicator noise. Are there any special things I need to be aware of to do this job? Many thanks for answering my questions, Terris

Hi:
If you have no pulsation when using the brakes, do not cut them. When you cut them they get thinner and more likely to warp.
Just replace the pads.
