When should I replace my timing belt? Or the timing chain replacement?

I have heard that the timing belt should be changed, but don’t know when. I had both sensors changed at approximately 110,000 miles.

This engine (2.4L 4 cylinder) has a timing chain which means it doesn't require replacement unless there is an issue that requires the replacement.

I am attaching the info below that shows this.

Let me know if you have other questions but if you had a belt then that would require replacement around 100,000 miles.

Thanks

There is no timing belt for this engine, they have a timing chain which is good for between 110,000 and 130,000 miles. Here are the instructions on how to change the chain and guides out in the diagrams below, you will need to change the oil afterwards and drain the coolant and disconnect the battery before you begin. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
