I just purchased this car a week ago and saw the same problem on another SW I looked at. The threshold/sill is rusted. What is best way to stop the rust? I am assuming I have to take off the plastic rocker panel to see where the moisture is getting in and then use rust neutralizer and maybe spray uncoat to keep it from getting worse. Are the rocker panels just held on wit the plastic expansion type push pins? Thanks

Are u talking about where u open the door and look down by the bottom of the seat if so yes there just expansion clips but use a bigger screwdriver pry under them where the clip is held that will greatly reduce the chance of breaking the clip. Sounds like u are on the right track with the rest I wouldnt use a undercoating under that panel inside the car that would make a big mess try a good paint u can go to an autobody shop and see what the recomend. Let me know how it comes out.
