1995 Saturn SL2 unexplainable oil in the spark plug wells

I pulled off the #1 spark plug wire from the engine. It's DOHC motor, so the plugs are set deep in the head. The plug well was full of motor oil, what is going on here? The motor runs fine, never misses or stalls. Is this normal?

All u have to do is change ur valve cover gasket u need silcone also to glue the gasket in palce hand tighten the bolts only or the new gasket will leak. Let me know how it goes.
