Hello -

I used a 1994 Saturn Coupe 1.9L DOHC VIN 7 for this for you. If this is not correct then please let me know you exact model, engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Note: The power steering pump assembly must be removed in order to gain access to the generator attachment bolts. Refer to the "Power Steering Pump Removal.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the generator splash shield attachment bolt and unclip the shield from the generator.
Disconnect the field and battery terminal wires. IMPORTANT: All generator attachment fasteners can usually be removed from under the hood. If access to the lower generator fastener is extremely difficult, the vehicles passenger's tire and splash shield can be removed. The generator can be removed through the wheel well.

Remove the lower and upper generator attachment bolts.

Remove the generator through the area between the shock tower and the intake manifold.

Install in reverse order
