it doesn't matter how many times they test the starter they only test for starter draw meaning how many amps the starter draws when working.if the starter fails because of a intermintant open in the strter windings u will never be able to test that with the starter draw test.when it doesn't start what happens does the engine spin or does the engine not spin.do u have dash lights etc? When it doesn't start how do u end up starting it?do u have a test light or multimeter?do h have any codes?

Thank you for the quick response. Lights work fine, both inside and out. When you turn the key over, it makes a 'clicking' sound. We have not been able to get it started at all. When it first started happening, you could jump start it which is why we replaced the alternator. Once the new alternator was in, it started right up, then after sitting for a few hours it wouldnt start. Battery shows full charge, but just clicks when you turn the key. Took the starter out to have tested.

If u can hear the starter click it usually means ur getting power to the starter and u said that when it was clicking u took it out and had it tested as good.I would put the starter back in make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.do u have a multimeter?
