I bought a saturn. It will not start unless I put the throttle to the floor and then pump it a little. After driving it for a little while if I turn it off I have problems getting it to start again, if at all. Do you have any suggestions?

I would start by changing the coolant temp sensor there only 10 make sure you get a brass tipped one the plastic tipped ones crack. Also inspect the connector going to it if its corroded then replace it as well. When you change it make sure the engine is cold you will loose coolant.I know the diagram of where your sensor is says 2001 but yours is the same location.Let me know if that fixes it pretty common problem for that car.
