1993 Saturn SL1 ENGINE COOLING FAN OPERATIONS

The engine cooling fan works properly when the A/C ison but when I turn the A/C off the fan does not operate causing the engin to overheat

You need to replace the coolant temp sensor it's the bottom sensor.Make sure you get a brass tipped one the plastic tipped one's crack.Make sure the engine is cold when you change it you will loose coolant.Also inspect the connector going to it if it's corroded then you will have to replace the connector too.
