Hello,

My Saturn idles around 2500rpms. Once in gear it drops down to 1100rpms and seems to run fine. I've changed the plugs and wires. I had a vacuum leak at the PCV valve. Replaced the valve and the hose. Also replaced the hose from the air intake to the valve cover. I've cleaned the throttle body a couple of times with carb cleaner. Found lots of grime. The first couple of times the idle did go down but went back up later and now is not affected. I can take off the PCV valve and the RPMs go up. Any ideas. All I get from the ECM is trouble code P0507.

Thanks.

Sound's like you have a good size vacuum leak if you let it idle get some carb spray. Spray around all the vacuum line's intake manifold gasket even the vacuum line that goes to the brake booster. If the rpm's go up or down or the engine start's stumbling or dieing you found your leak. Let me know what you found.
