My 98 saturn sl stalled going around a turn and would not start again. It would not even crank. The battery seems fine and it weakly tried to turn over the next day, but stopped cranking after two attempts. The starter was replaced less than a year ago. I also have been dealing with a strange creaking sound around the car that also happens on slow turns, could they be somehow related?
The turn I stalled on I took fast, it was a highway off ramp. Any ideas? Help!

The turn may have been a coincidence. Have you had the battery tested? Alternator? Is the engine full of oil? Coolant? Could be a bad starter/solenoid. Check for 12 volts at the small wire on the starter with key in crank position. If it has power then the starter needs to be replaced. If none, then get back to me and we will figure out where it stops.
