2004 Saturn L300 Problem with brakes

Brakes problem
2004 Saturn L300 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles

I'm having a problem stopping. Front brakes were replaced. Master cylinder also replaced and back brakes look fine.
When I go to stop it keeps going but I hear a hissing sound when I put on the brakes, when you put your foot on the brake it feels hard but keeps moving. We don't see any leakage. Could it be the brake booster?

Sounds like the brakes need to be bled.

No they were bled. We did find the problem. The brake booster had a leak.

Where was the booster ;eak?
Did you have to replace the booster or was the leak repairable without replacing the booster?

The booster had a pinhole at its seam and had to be replaced
