My saturn runs great in the City the only time I have problems is when I try to pass someone and I have to accelarate and push the kick down.

The car will not increase speed.
It changes gears perfect as long as I dont push the kick down.

Does any body have an idea what it could be.

Thanks for answering the question so fast.

The car just won't put the power on the road.
The car gets louder and shifts down but it will not increase speed it losses a little.
The engine check light is on to but the Computer will not give me a code.

As long as I ride city it works perfect
even on the autobahn. As long as I dont try to hit kick down the car will do everything perfect

If ur check engine light comes on without codes then u probably have a transmission code or a body control module code the little code readers that u can buy can only read the universal engine codes.I would go to where they have a code reader that can read those it be a transmission issue. Also the cat maybe starting to clog up u can check the cat by having a back pressure test done on the exhaust. When the cat gets really clogged they won't shift to the next gear up untill u let off the exhaust. Let me know why u find.
