a part of the windshield wiper has come loose. I need to get at the mechanism but I do not know how to remove the covering for it. How do I do that?

Its very common for the wiper transmission to brake its about $90 1.Turn the ignition ON. 2.Turn the wiper switch to DELAY. 3.Turn the ignition OFF when the wiper arms are paused at the bottom of the wipe pattern. 4.Remove the wiper arm nut cover. 5.Remove the wiper arm nut.
