I don't know much about cars but I just bought this car a few months ago and lately I have had problems getting it to start. I'm not sure what to do about it. It just says "service vehicle" below the speedometer. It will usually start later on that day or if i keep trying and press the gas hard while i turn the key i can get it to start sometimes. That is probably bad for it but again... i know nothing about cars.
I did take it to Firestone and had them run a diagnostics test but they said they could not find anything wrong.

Can anyone give me some guidance?

I actually just had that same problem fixed on my ion. It is something with the ignition switch that is faulty and Saturn has not done a recall on it yet. But it looks like your car may still be under warranty which means they will fix it for free. Does it only seem to do it in the morning or when it's cold outside? That's what mine was doing, then I found all these complaints of people having the same problem. Hope this helps.
