Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Saturn Ion 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I purchased my Saturn about a year ago, it rides well and i change my oil every 3K miles.

Once in a blue moon it just won't start. No noise, no sounds - no clicking..... it just doesn't start.

Tried steering wheel unlock, made sure car was in park, and other checks... no results.

sometimes after ten min the car will indeed start with no warning lights.

Has this happened before??
Please help,

pretty common for that model when it wont start like that especially in cold its usually a bad ignition switch.have ur body control module scanned for codes if u have a b2960 and or a b3033 codes replace the ignition switch pretty easy to change and the switch is only like 40.let me know what u find and how it goes.
