1988 SAAB 900 fuel line connecter I, want to repair it.

Can the fuel line be connected to the part that goes to the fuel filter my, line had a hole in it so i, had to cut it down so can im having a problem putting it back on do hot water works would u, please let me know thank u.

Hi realtalk52,

The fuel lines are a safety concern so the job cannot be flimsy.

There are different sections with different materials used so I need to understand the situation better to be able to provide any advise.

1. Is the part that failed rubber or vinyl type?
2. From the fuel filter out, there should be a pipe/tube, how long is left?
3. At the other end, what do you have?
