When I start to back my car up I'm getting a vibration and hesitation especially when I'm turning the wheel. What is causing that? I just bought the car.

Hi:

Are there any noises associated with the issue? For example. Do you hear any clicking or knocking sounds?

Let me know.

Joe

No, I don't hear any clicking or knocking noises. Once I engage reverse it revs up and then it makes a clunk noise and the steering wheel starts vibrating especially when I'm turning the car.

Hi:

Based on the description, it sounds like an axle/CV joint issue. It's odd that it doesn't happen in drive but anything is possible.

Do me a favor. Take a look through this link and let me know if it seems to mirror what you are experiencing.

I will watch for your reply.
