Popping sound on front left side when turning left

I have a '97 sunfire, standard shift, with 75000km. All original parts.

Recently it developed a popping sound on the front left side when I turn left.

So far, I have replaced the front and rear struts and mounts, changed the bearings on the front wheels, changed the front tires...it's still doing it. And just for "fun", I replaced the entire exhaust system, including the gas tank and muffler. What else can be causing this popping sound?

Should I be looking at the tie rods? I'm tired of spending huge sums of cash to repair shops and the problem is still not fixed. Although I will admit my car is handling like it did when I first bought it in '97. :)

Can You offer suggestions of what else I can ask the mechanic to look at?
