Sorry if my question sounds stupid I don't know much about mechanic's. My question is this. I have a Montana 2004 I bought used when I got the minivan my oil gage was around 95 (electronic oil gage) i've made my oil change and it's decreasing now its at 18. ( It doesn't leak
and it's not burning) waht could it be. Thank you

The oil life system does not automatically know when the oil has been changed and needs to be reset each time you change the oil. You can do this yourself. I believe for the Montana all you have to do is display the oil life reading on the dash and push and hold the button until the display reads "99" - this is the same procedure you would use to reset your trip odometer. If this doesn't work, check you owner's manual.
