1993 Pontiac Grand Prix Temp problem

My problem is. Idrve 78 miles at 55 mph and the temp gauge diddnt raise a little. I opened the hood and the engine wasnt really super hot and wasnt over heating. Got any thoughts of where to start first?

Replace the thermostat and gasket. Its probably stuck wide open. Feedback and votes for me are greatly appreciated
