I've owned my 95 Grand Am Quad 4 DOHC for a couple years now. It has just over 120,000 miles on it. about 6 months ago I replaced the head gasket, coil pack, spark plugs, and water pump. Now my car is doing more weird things. I drive for like 10 minutes and then the car starts chugging heavily and the RPMs shoot way up out of control. after about 30 seconds of chugging the car will just die and wont start for an hour or so until it cools down. And then it will run perfectly for 10 -15 minutes and do the same thing again. I was thinking fuel pump or something like that, a friend of mine mentioned the crank sensor. What do you think?

Well the dealer in my area said i had to take out the drive axle..I did,and it still wouldnt come out,I called back they then told me,,that the inner shaft also needed to come out.

Well at this point I figured they just wanted me to need a new seal and crap like that..I looked it over, and I took the lower mounting bracket off,the one that has the pivot on it,and it fell right out...

Thanks anyway..
