1998 Pontiac Grand Am Water Pump?
Engine Cooling problem
1998 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 99500 miles
Regarding Post by marknutter on SEPT 12, 2007 talking about coolant leak on drivers side coming out exhaust manifold gasket. The response was water pump, but the water pump is on the passenger side. Could this still cause this? It would save me a ton of diagnostic time if that was the case. Thank you.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.
If it is leaking from the manifold then it is probably not a water pump issue..
I suggest having the block dye tested for cracks. You may need to pull the cylinder head to inspect for cracks as well, along with checking head gasket and exhaust manifold gasket.
